Thanks for the success of “Made in Milano Days”!
From November 22 to 24, Milan's artisan workshops came alive with creativity, passion and tradition for Made in Milano Days , an event that celebrated the value of handmade products and the excellence of artisan crafts.
We at Conti Borbone also had the honor of participating, opening the doors of our laboratory to share the magic of artisan bookbinding with all of you. It was a special moment, in which paper, cuoio , ancient techniques and personal stories intertwined, giving life to a unique and emotionally charged experience.
We would like to thank with all our heart the many visitors who came to visit us. Every smile, every curious question and every appreciation for our work reminded us how important it is to pass on and enhance the art of the handmade book. Your presence gave us energy and motivation to continue creating with dedication and love.
A special thanks also goes to the organizers of Made in Milano Days , who with their vision made this wonderful initiative possible, and to all the other artisan workshops that contributed to making Milan the beating heart of Italian craftsmanship for three days.
For us, every event is an opportunity to get closer to you, to tell our story and to share the importance of a profession that lives on time, hands and passion.

I am Angelo Marchesi, a bookbinder following in the footsteps of my family, who owns the Bookbinding Conti Borbone, founded over a hundred years ago. My passion is to preserve and enhance ancient books, restoring them with care and respect. I also enjoy creating new volumes, personalized and original, using high-quality materials and traditional techniques. Bookbinding, for me, is an art that demands dedication, creativity, and precision.
