New Damasco Leather Diaries: Elegance in Black and White with Gold Details

Our collection of leather diaries welcomes two new protagonists: two leather diaries, one black and one white, designed for anyone looking for an elegant object that is also deeply personal.

The distinctive feature of these diaries is the rich gold print that decorates both the front and back covers: a dense, precious damask pattern that echoes the fine fabrics the series is named after. On the black version, the contrast with the gold is bold and dramatic; on the white version, the same pattern takes on a more delicate, luminous character.

As with all our products, the Damasco diaries can also be personalized: the lettering, always rendered in gold, is stamped on the spine and can be requested in cursive or block letters, for a truly unique, made-to-measure touch.

Each diary is born from the artisan craftsmanship of the bookbindery, which follows every step of the making by hand, from choosing the leather to the hot-stamping, all the way to the final binding. An artisan product, made in italy, designed to accompany thoughts, notes and projects with timeless style.

Discover both versions of the Damasco collection and choose the one that best suits your style, or give one as a gift: a diary that already feels precious before it's even opened.

Angelo Marchesi

I am Angelo Marchesi, a bookbinder following in the footsteps of my family, who owns the Bookbinding Conti Borbone, founded over a hundred years ago. My passion is to preserve and enhance ancient books, restoring them with care and respect. I also enjoy creating new volumes, personalized and original, using high-quality materials and traditional techniques. Bookbinding, for me, is an art that demands dedication, creativity, and precision.
